Things are looking up at 1UP! I can't even begin to believe that we just celebrated 10 years! It was so great to bring our team, clients, and partners together for a night to remember. I had an overflowing heart when I started to share a few words, as the impact of this amazing group of people really hit me. Thank you to all who were able to join us, and to those who were there in spirit, it truly is an honor to work together to make a positive impact! Big shout out to Juliet Westlake who did all of the leg work to make it happen, and then was hit with a fever, and couldn't join.

With the end of summer and the back-to-work/school season underway, these past weeks have been chaotic for many people. Here are a few things I've been working on to add a little order: 1) Go to Bed / Wake up Earlier: I am naturally a night owl, but have been working to get my 7+ hours of sleep. Waking at 6am consistently, and winding down around 10:30pm with a book. Game changer! 2) Stretch and Breathe: I take 10 minutes in the morning (with all my extra time ;)) to stretch and breathe, it really helps to ground me to take on the day. 3) Roll With It: Keeping the perspective that this busy period will pass, helps me to weather the storm. Here's hoping you are all finding some semblance of balance during this season, and are getting into your stride. Happy solstice everyone! Every day will be brighter from here on out (until Summer that is). To celebrate today, I made "sunshine" blueberry pancakes with eggs on top for the family and will have the fire ring out tonight to bring some light for the darkest night.
