Salesforce announced that the Spring ‘23 Product Release preview is now live. The release includes hundreds of updates and new features. Many of these will help organisations improve their bottom line and personalisation, both key requirements in 2023. Salesforce highlighted several new features, including:

  • Account Discovery Dashboard. It is built on CRM Analytics and accessible directly from the account list view. It uses Einstein Discovery to provide out-of-the-box, configurable, AI-driven health and upside scores. These will help identify accounts at risk and accounts with upside.
  • Direct integration between Salesforce and WhatsApp
  • Salesforce Contact Center now includes Einstein Conversation Insights and Shift Scheduling, enabling contact centre leaders to schedule the right agents on the right channels at the right time and onboard those agents quickly with coaching and insights for immediate time to value.
  • Quick Promotion Setup enables Loyalty Management users to save time and resources. It has a simple setup experience for commonly used promotions without building from the ground up. Loyalty program managers are equipped with predefined eligibility, reward, and rule criteria that can be configured with just a few clicks.
  • Automotive Cloud has added Cloud Intelligence. It adds AI insights to enable users to dive deep into automotive lead performance, their vehicle portfolio inventory and sales, and vehicle and parts forecasts.
  • Service Process Automation: Financial services firms can now easily deploy automated processes for common service requests. In addition, they can quickly build a process with low-/no-code tools, select a pre-built process template, and make API calls to third-party systems at scale with High-Performance Integrations.

Acquisitions

Globant has acquired Vertic, a Copenhagen and New York-based creative consultancy with a strong focus on life sciences and other B2B disciplines. This acquisition will allow Globant to consolidate its global digital marketing network and start operations in Denmark. It gives it a base from where it will offer services to companies based in Nordic countries.

Volaris Group announced the acquisition of ClickDimensions, a provider of technology to unify sales and marketing efforts for small to medium businesses, from Accel-KKR.

Appointments

Appen Limited announced the official starting of Armughan Ahmad as CEO and President.

Billtrust announced two executive leadership appointments. Grant Johnson has been named Chief Marketing Officer, and Robert Purcell has been named Chief Financial Officer.

Bullhorn has promoted Kelley Morse to Chief People Officer.

Cognite announced four appointments to lead the company’s scaling efforts for its next growth stage. Moe Tanabian, Chief Product Officer (CPO); Paul Lightfoot, SVP of User Experience; Emmanuelle Camus, President for Cognite EMEA; and Liat Berger, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Visier announced the appointment of Matt Weaver as Senior Vice President, Sales Americas.

Creatio announced a partnership with Accrete Consulting Solutions. Accrete is a US-based process advisory and systems integration firm.

Denodo announced that it had achieved the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data and Analytics ISV Competency status.

Ivanti Wavelink announced the launch of its new fully enabled Partner Portal. It is a personalized, role-based experience that provides automation of the partner life cycle and streamlines business processes.

Nexthink announced it is part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Accelerate Program.

Revenue.io is now Health Insurance Portability, and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certified. Revenue.io meets its obligations as a Business Associate to help its clients maintain compliance.

Zellis and Cuvama announced their continued partnership. It will continue supporting Zellis’ transformation to an outcomes-centric, delivery-focused culture with Cuvama’s customer value management technology.

Zellis, the UK and Ireland’s leading payroll and HR solutions provider, have announced a connector with Cornerstone TalentLink to ease the journey from recruitment to onboarding.

Zycus announced that it had received a patent for its spend reporting application, iAnalyze. In total, Zycus has 30 patents filed across the source-to-pay suite to date.

PreviewMe, a video communication platform for sales and marketing teams, has revealed the benefits it has achieved from deploying ActiveCampaign’s CRM solution. After implementing ActiveCampaign, PreviewMe’s sales reps started saving one day per week by automating repetitive tasks. Teams increased the open rate for marketing messages from 9% to 38%. They also achieved a click-through rate of nearly 8% from their video email signatures

MyRepublic Digital, the digital transformation company powering MyRepublic, an award-winning telecom operator in the Asia-Pacific, has implemented the Boomi AtomSphere™ Platform. It expects to achieve higher efficiency, performance, and ultimately a better experience for customers.

School Populo is using the Creatio no-code platform to increase its lead conversion rate by two times. It will make the platform the driving force behind the company’s growth.

Lifestyle brand OluKai, the Hawaiian-inspired footwear company best known for its underfoot comfort, has chosen Jitterbit to connect its key backend systems to streamline its sales and fulfilment processes and improve team productivity.

Stanley Enterprise, owner of the 2500-acre Knowsley Estate on Merseyside, has selected MHR International to transform its finance and management processes. The implementation will deploy MHR’s iTrent HR and Payroll platform and Microsoft Business Central. The solutions will streamline processes, improve accuracy, and save time for Stanley Enterprise’s 160 employees.

Showpad revealed how Schneider Electric uses the Showpad sales enablement platform as a key pillar of its digital transformation.

Financial Reports

Creatio shared its annual achievements and milestones. Growth in 2022 was fueled by accelerated new customer acquisition and expansion of existing relationships. There were few financial figures; net retention was 130%, and its added 110 applications to the Marketplace. It started relationships with 114 partners and added to its local presence in 16 countries, opening an office in Warsaw.

Creatio CEO Katherine Kostereva said, “Despite turbulent times and the economic slowdown, Creatio maintained a similarly strong growth rate as in the previous year. We recognize a big demand in the market to deploy business applications and automate workflows. Midsize and large organizations are no longer ready to wait months until their critical applications are ready. Creatio’s composable no-code platform provides our clients and partners a unique opportunity to bring these applications to the market much faster.” 

Konsolidator published a report on its success in 2022, during which it saw a 29% growth in ARR, reaching DKK 17.6 million. Revenue increased to DKK 16.7 million in 2022 (2021: DKK 13 million).  It also added 14 new customers in December alone, a record.

Claus Grove Finderup, CEO at Konsolidator, said, “2022 has been a challenging year in which we have adjusted the costs as announced in a previous company announcement. This has resulted in us closing our offices in the UK and Sweden as well as downscaling the organization. With this in mind we are satisfied with a growth of 29% in ARR. I am happy to see that the growth in particularly the UK and Sweden has continued, even though we have centralized our sales resources in Copenhagen.”

Reputation announced an integration with Apple Business Connect. It is a free tool that allows businesses of all sizes to claim their location place cards and customize the way key information appears to more than a billion Apple users across Apple Maps, Messages, Wallet, Siri and other apps.

RoboMQ announced that phase 4.3 of Hire2Retire is now live. Hire2Retire now supports the Paycom HR platform.

SOCi Inc announced an integration with Apple Business Connect to provide up-to-date, local business information and special offers and promotions to consumers across Apple Maps and other Apple apps.

Validity announced the relaunch of Sender Score, a destination for email marketers looking to level up their programs and deepen their sending knowledge

Workwave announced the launch of its new Communication Center during its annual Beyond Service User Conference in Orlando, FL. Communication Center is a centralized hub that allows WorkWave customers to manage all customer communications and interactions, across all different methods, in one place.

Zuora announced new purpose-built consumption-based billing and consumption-based revenue recognition solutions. With these new offerings, Zuora’s market-leading solution now provides end-to-end billing and revenue recognition for consumption-based pricing, giving companies a comprehensive solution to quickly iterate across quote-to-cash and revenue accounting.
