Greenkeepers Required

• Perform turf mowing of greens, tees, fairways and rough.
• Complete bunker grooming, edging and raking.
• Maintain top dressing of turf areas
• Be responsible for daily course set-up, including pin placement, tee marker rotation, retrieving any rubbish from the golf course and property
• Approach all encounters with guests, members and colleagues in a friendly service orientated manner.
• Comply at all times with Galway Bay Golf Resort’s safety standards and regulations to ensure safe operations
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Galway Bay Golf Resort’s standards as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the golf course
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management

• Efficiency
• Requires constant walking, standing, stooping, grasping and kneeling.
• Requires the ability to perform a variety of manual labour tasks that will require some strenuous physical efforts
• Requires the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time, whilst remaining physically active

• Experience with equipment associated with golf course maintenance
• Excellent English written and verbal essential.
• Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions in work activities
• Be a team player
• Minimum leaving cert qualification.
• Must have at least 6 months’ experience in a similar position.
