Greenkeeper Position

We are looking to recruit a Full-Time Greenkeeper for Arklow Golf Club, Co. Wicklow. The Greenkeeper will report to the Head Greenkeeper and will assist in the establishment and maintenance of the links. This exciting opportunity will provide the successful candidate, who is willing to learn and develop themselves, with an excellent training and networking opportunity that will provide an excellent foundation to a career in greenkeeping. Weekend work is completed on a rotation basis. Previous Greenkeeping experience will be preferred.

Duties:

 Course preparation
 Mowing of greens, tees, approaches and rough
 Cleaning and maintenance of machines
 Bunker and pathway maintenance
 Help repair and renovate damaged turf
 Use of powered and non powered green keeping equipment

Experience/Skills:

 Motivated and Friendly Individual with an eye for detail
 Positive attitude
 Ideally experienced as a Green keeper
 Driving licence
 PA1, PA6 spraying certificates
 A sound knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety
