Meet Daniel Martin, our CEO! People, technology and business are at the core of everything that Daniel does. Daniel is the 'glue' of Aston Social, and it is safe to say that we are very thankful for his efforts into pushing Aston Social further each day! A little about Daniel.... Starting life as a network engineer and later software engineer, Daniel moved into technical sales and sales roles with large American software firms including Computer Associates and Microsoft. Later diversification into a sales role with a specialist digital agency led Daniel to expand his technical knowledge into the theory of marketing, more specifically digital marketing.

"How do I lead my team?" First things first, things have drastically changed over the past six months, and we certainly are unsure about the future. What we can confirm, is leaders should use this time to ensure they are managing in an effective way. We advise: 1) Ensure you work alongside your colleague's, not above them - you may gain more respect like this, whilst building great working relationships with your team. 2) Allow freedom for creativity - you will be surprised at the ideas that appear through this. 3) Set goals and talk about visions for the future - employees need something to work towards, it motivates them. 4) Create an enjoyable atmosphere for the team. 5) Check in on your team and ensure they have everything they need to move forward, i.e. materials, training.
