When we start a business or start freelancing, we all have to face a common problem, which is not getting clients. We try to focus our time and energy to compete with big players on various big platforms. When We compete with huge Freelancers, The chances of getting clients are very less, and if we are not experienced then it's next to impossible to get the client. So, what's the solution to it? Google My Business Listing. Currently, this mode of marketing services is least saturated than others, we have to compete with fewer players. The chances of winning the client are very high. There are a large number of clients who work with people face to face, and if we are one of few services providers in your local area then we will get the client more often than any other sales channel. How Branding Kills Local Business . Imagine you have to buy a new pair of shoes, you have two options to buy. The first Option is, Buy it from Nike, which might be costly but have heard about them so many times through ads or any other social media. and Another Option is to buy it from a Local Brand, which might be cheaper than Nike and it may be of better quality than Nike, but you have not heard about this brand before. Now, What option will you choose? 90% of people will choose Nike because they are familiar with Nike. Even the local business is selling better quality shoes at a better price and with some extra benefits. But you will not trust the local unbranded Products.  Why..? Because people tend to buy an average branded product than a Great unbranded product. This mindset is killing the Local Business. It's hard for local businesses to sell products that are manufactured by them and don't carry a Brand name. If their products don't have a Brand Name or logo, people see them as low quality.  In the digital economy, People are running toward Branded products, because they associate a brand with Quality and Trust.
