Whether you're new to digital marketing or a veteran looking to improve your existing e-commerce business, you must stay on top of new skills. One of the best ways is by learning from other entrepreneurs and marketers! 1. Traveller Collective Traveler Collective can fully understand its audience and has chosen social media platforms relevant to its target market. They have a Twitter account, but they know their ideal customers spend more time on Facebook and Instagram. So, this is where Travellers Collective spends most of its time — actively encouraging user-generated content with the hashtag #ontheroadwithtc, which has been used over 5,000 times in posts by other users. 2. Bushwick Kitchen They secured $500 of pre-sales by setting up a primary online store consisting of a single product page with photoshopped images and an estimated price based on their costs. Once they had begun producing the product, they began email marketing to 400 friends and select contacts, employing persuasive and straightforward language to convince them to support their new commerce business. The bulk of sales came from sustained press campaigns that Bees Knees Spicy Honey (one of their products) was featured in blog posts on popular foodie websites like Kitchen Grub Street Uncrate--leading to a 500% increase in sales! 3. Dollar Shave Club It all started with a viral video. The now-iconic ad starred Rubin himself walking through the warehouse and making gag-packed boasts about their services. It layered funny lines with visual comedy and left the viewer in no doubt that this was a bold new brand that meant business. The ad only cost $4,500, took one day to shoot, and wasn't the result of a marketing agency brainstorming session. Rubin studied improv comedy at the Upright Citizen's Brigade theater company in New York City and has always known that "comedy is an important device for telling stories." He was right - there are now 26 million views on YouTube! 4. Beard Brand Eric Bandholz founded this business in 2012; when it wasn't an e-commerce business at all, he was writing blog posts and creating YouTube videos about male grooming. Essentially, he was content marketing before the company had any products to market! When he launched his first products the following year (after his blog had been featured in The New York Times), a sizable audience was already invested in him. 5. Syght Glasses Corey Ferreira, an avid gamer, started marketing blue-light blocking glasses to gamers in just five weeks. He did this by running retargeting ads on Facebook and collaborating with gaming influencers on YouTube and Twitch, who could earn $10 for each pair of glasses that they helped him sell using their unique discount code. This way, Corey didn't have to pay anything upfront for a product shoutout, and he was able to save money on advertising costs when the influencer wasn't successful in selling any pairs of glasses.

Facts are things that happen in the real world. They help us differentiate what is true and what is false. For example, did you know that owning just one guinea pig in Switzerland can be illegal? Or, according to The British royal family, they aren't allowed to play Monopoly? No matter how strange some facts may seem, they're essential for making critical decisions in life. So here are a few fun digital marketing facts that could influence your strategies: #digitalsupercat #meowme #digitalmarketing #supercat360 #marketingagency #digitalmarketingagency

We all like to ensure that a business is credible before buying its products or service, so online reviews are of the utmost significance. I want to think of online reviews as an extension of word-of-mouth marketing, except their scale is much bigger and doesn't have the social circle restrictions of traditional WOM practices. A review is visible to all prospective customers, and a positive review plays a critical role in convincing them that your business delivers on its promises. Let's look at how you can increase your online reviews and attract more customers to your business. #digitalsupercat #meow #digitalmarketing #supercat360 #marketingagency #socialmediamanagement #graphicdesigner
