Ice Dams: During winter, as you heat your house, the roof warms up and allows the snow to melt. The melting snow falls to the edge of the roof and the temperature drops to ice again. A blockage, or ice dam, will form if this occurs again and again! The snowmelt must go somewhere after the ice dam is built. It goes through the most normal route down the slope and this direction is generally under your shingles and flashings. Roofs are not built to cope with this amount of moisture, so you can inevitably have leaks.

Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg you should be ashamed of yourself! For the past few weeks I have been working with a new client LillyJade Style to fix up her Shopify store and sync her catalogs with Facebook Shop to complete purchases in-app. We have been focusing improving photos and adding new items with a deadline of today (December 1st) knowing we were given a $300 ad credit to start marketing the shop that expires on December 3rd. Today, I logged in to create the ad using the credit and it was gone! I start a chat with Facebook Business Support to resolve the issue. From the screenshots, you will see that the ad credit clearly says it expires in December 3rd and in the terms and conditions it says they will notify us upon any changes. No notifications were received. Read through my correspondence with Kevin from Facebook Business Support. I left out the hour long segment where he repeatedly told me to hold for 7-10 minutes while he “researched it further”. It’s important to note that he asked for and was sent the same screenshot of the email. This is really about #ethics and #principals, not the $300. If a small business were to try backpedaling like this, they would get crushed! Who is holding Facebook accountable for their actions? No one! They can freely do and censor and take as they please because there is no oversight. My goal is that this will be seen and shared by enough people that someone with some authority at Facebook will realize that this is wrong and do something about it. If this is happening to me, how many millions of others is it happening to? Facebook generates BILLIONS of dollars of ad revenue. Whatever sales we made from this $300 credit would have likely been reinvested into future ad campaign. $300 is a lot to a small business! #SupportSmallBusiness #supportsmallbusinesses
