As an interview training company we needed to take our video products up several levels and to find a partner who could help us launch our new video course Interview Logic. Motion Source helped us do that and exceeded our expectations in every way! From the moment we contacted them to the final release of the videos they were professional, engaged, patient and timely. They were the only production company in the Chicagoland area that we contacted that was willing to hold a phone call and listen to our vision within a day of reaching out. When we visited their studio we were impressed with their space and resources. All of their key players showed up and it was obvious they took our project seriously. They already had ideas for how to create an engaging and unique product. Craig and Steve are up to speed on the latest video trends and resourceful in how they envisioned the shoot. Their proposal was easy to understand, fair and automated. When it came to casting a rather complex series of days they helped us navigate the world of professional actors and agents in a very affordable way. Throughout the casting auditions and the filming days I was very impressed with Craig's ability to get the most out of each actor. He runs a calm and orderly set and we always hit our milestones. Filming days were a lot of fun and the entire crew is easy-going and professional. They did a great job of being quietly efficient while we let the actors shine. Post production went without a hitch and they turned around all of our edits and comments quickly. We are continuing our relationship with Motion Source in 2018 and are excited to partner with them again!

I had the pleasure of working with the Motion Source Video Production team to execute a campaign video advocating for a local public library referendum in Brookfield, IL. The Motion Source team was extremely professional, creative and maximized all the B-Roll and testimonial excerpts to make a video that truly summarized our campaign platform and impact. I needed a venue with a large white space for a low-budget music video shoot. I contacted several places, but most were either too expensive or unresponsive. When I emailed Motion Source, I was astounded by the quick response time. I sent around 20 emails with various questions related to our various budgeting issues and our constantly-changing schedule. Each time, I would receive a reply from Libby Smith within a day, most often within an hour or two, and sometimes immediately. As any filmmaker knows, this makes the entire chaotic process of planning a production infinitely easier. When I requested to see the space, John met me there on a Sunday morning and went through all of the details. He's a very down-to-earth guy, and he was completely transparent about all of the details of our agreement and payments. He informed me that Motion Source shoots a lot of their own content in their studio, and I think that this definitely gives them a great understanding of and sympathy for the needs of low-budget filmmakers. On the day of shooting, we were assisted by Dave, a super easy-going guy who was eager to help and made the entire production run smoothly. I couldn't have been happier with Motion Source. The studio is beautiful, the amenities are great, and above all the customer service is phenomenal. They genuinely care about you and your production. Thanks Motion Source!

We are still in the filming stage but what a brilliant experience so far!!! Michelle, Libby & Craig totally 'got' my project and came up with a wonderful concept. I had the pleasure of working with Michelle Maslanka and the rest of the Motion Source team on videos for my organization's spring fundraiser. From start to finish, I was so impressed with how thorough they were on all the various pieces along with their thoughtfulness when interviewing our clients who are survivors of domestic violence. The final products were beautiful and we have gotten such great feedback from donors and supporters on them.
