One area of SEO for home builders with tons of potential is images. Yes, photos are vital to any website, especially your portfolio, but often files are misnamed and hurt their image search potential.  Name it with descriptive keywords to maximize its SEO juice when saving a file. Separate words with hyphens, and don't use an underscore in the title. Typically WordPress will pick up the image's title from the name of the file itself. If you have a file named 'Z62_8494.jpg', rename it with a descriptive title and include keywords like 'exterior-brick-two-story-custom-home.jpg. Don't forget about the alt tags, though. The way that search engines index pictures are called an alt tag.
