We can’t believe it’s the last day of August. What a summer it’s been for us so far! Maybe we can attribute it to the good weather or the increasingly buoyant economy, but our Business Development Specialist team are on fire at the moment! The latest bit of good news is that we secured a tender opportunity for one of our clients, a water treatment company, with one of the foremost universities in the North East with 350 buildings! Identifying high value, long term opportunities for our clients is truly picking up the pace, with another opportunity worth more than £1.4m over 3 years for our client delivering innovation into the IT sector. When a client sets out on their journey with us we ask them to write down a Wish List. When we create an opportunity with a prospect on that list, as we did for the client above, the feel-good factor is even better!

This campaign for Tesco earlier this year caught our eye, mainly because their ‘Pop To Your Local If You Can’ campaign was so unusual. The altruism behind Tesco’s message is unexpected and may seem counter intuitive – after all, they are potentially losing sales by promoting a competitor but the campaign worked incredibly well for them. Sometimes doing the opposite of what people expect yields surprising results! Have a great bank holiday weekend everyone!
