Do you know the difference between features and benefits? So many pieces of marketing don't work because they're trying to sell the features of the product and not the benefits. Here is an ad from Apple (remember iPods?) π§ First up is a features lead version of the ad. It talks about the storage and the materials of the iPod and is extremely boring. Next up, the real version of the ad. This talks about what the user is going to get out of buying the iPod; the benefits. It sells the product on emotion and is a whole lot more interesting.
