I'd leave negative stars if I could. What a bunch of hacks! Check out this story... I searched for a new dentist. I found this place. I made an appointment. The 12 year old hygienist that cleaned my teeth... I told her politely that she just scraped off a glue point on my permanent retainer. She says "no I didn't, that was tarter." I say... "This permanent retainer has been in my mouth for decades, I know it's part of my retainer. " "No... It was tarter." I leave with my damaged retainer. Let's not forget that these money hungry rookies tell me I have " deep pockets" and they try to sell me on the 12 year old hygienist ripping my gums away from my teeth to clean said pockets. I went to another dentist....no deep pockets. So I call and badger the office manager to schedule an appointment with the dentist to repair my damaged retainer. She did this. I arrived at my scheduled time and sit in the lobby. The new dentist, who bought the practice, has an office on Bainbridge Island that he is oh so proud of!! I'm sitting in the lobby and in a room down the hall, the new dentist asks his staff "what is this appointment about?" They respond with descriptives that are hurtful and degrading to me. I say "Hey! I can hear you talking about me!" The manager sheepishly sticks her head into the hall and had the -oh no, we're busted look on her face. Down the hall we go, I sit in the flimsy, low budget, dental chair. Dr. Snooty pants comes in and glues my damaged retainer COMPLETELY WRONG! He is certainly no orthodontist. He is also no gum specialist. Do yourself a favor. Don't go here.

I had a relationship of 13 years with this office but had to end it because of bad billing practices and rude people in the billing office, who refuse to accept their mistakes and want you to pay more when they actually owe you a refund, doctors are great but sadly enough, me or my family will not deal with such rude staff

The WORST dentist I have ever been to! He has NO personality or bed side manner. No hello, no nothing. I couldn't get out of that office fast enough. I can't believe he has any patients!!

I went there for the first time today to get my teeth cleaned and was extremely disappointed. The person who worked on my teeth kept yanking on my fillings and saying they were just plack. I repeatedly told the person that they were fillings and to stop yanking on them but all they did was just tell me that they've been doing this a long time and that they know what there doing. On top of that they stabbed me in the gums nonstop and repeatedly told me that they hurt cus I don't brush enough. I brush and floss my teeth three times a day. This person was not doing their job right. My mouth is still throbbing in pain and it's been more than a day. Do not recommend, AT ALL.

This used to be a positive review, but after years of going to this dentist, I have given up on them. Dr Dykstra routinely does sloppy dental work. The crown he did for me was a total mess. The dental assistant was totally incompetent, and the billing staff is rude, unreasonable, and completely unprofessional.

RUN AWAY!!! I visited his office for a filling based on a friend of mine who thinks he is a good dentists. Dr Dykstra did the filling and also discovered another tooth that needed a filling so we set and appointment for next month or so. So I go in for the second time ( and keep in mind I had no tooth sensitivity, pain or any problem with the tooth he thought I needed to get it fixed) He did the filling and told me it may take few days before I can use it again. Immediately after the numbness goes away, my tooth start hurting like hell. So I waited for a few days but nothing changed whatsoever. So I called for another appointment and explained them what happen. Receptionist was kind enough to listen and scheduled me in for another exam. So I go in for the 3rd time and waited on the exam chair for half an hour. Than dental assistant came in and listened what my problem was. She basically went back and fort between the exam room that I was in and one next to mine where Dr. was working on another patient. She finally told me Dr. had no time to see me and all the symptoms were normal. So I should just wait couple of months and it would go away. I waited a month and my pain had just became unbearable. So I called them again and asked for another appointment. This time Dr was out for a medical leave and his partner looked at my tooth and said it was CRACKED!!! And she also claims doing the filling had nothing to do with it. They told me we may need a crown to fix it but they were busy for the next couple of months and it would be more beneficial if I see some other Dr. WTF??? A doctor is telling me this??? So I cancelled all my cleaning appointments with them and went to see my gf's dentist ( Dr. Ryan in Queen Anne) He did the crown and it was ok for few months. Then I woke up with a fricking ear pain one night and made a visit to E.R. thinking my ear drums were busted. They gave me few pain killers and it kind of eased my pain. 2 days later, same thing happened and another visit to local clinic but still no luck. So I called my dentist and asked for an emergency appointment. This time he figured out that I needed an root canal treatment. So he cut the old crown out did a root canal and put a new crown. So form the beginning I probably spent close to 4 grand for one stupid mistake that Dr Dykstra made. I am sorry his partner can claim that it wasn't his fault as long as she wants to but I have never had any cracked tooth before, had 3 more fillings since than and never had any issues with those either. I say think twice before you go in and think about what happened to my tooth. P.S. The very first filling he did for me also fell off and I had to get it redone after a year.

Been going to Dr. Dykstra for a few years. I will say his bedside manner isn't close to a Mary Poppins experience but he is a good competent dentist. He will do as minimal as he can to solve any problems. If a filling will do the trick, he will do a filling instead of saying you need a root canal and a crown and so on. Both my son's go to him as well. They like the Mary Poppins experience and are okay with Dr. lacking that quintessential charm.

He answers every question that I have and never makes me feel like he is too busy. My daughter had 2 fillings recently. She left the office smiling and was completely unfazed! Dr. Lubeck talked her through step by step in terms that my 6 year old could understand. His entire focus was on her. He treats me the same way when I am in the chair—he is completely focused on my needs. I never leave his office feeling shaken up. Ever. He is gentle. I do not have continued pain after my visit. Dr. Lubeck and his staff are incredible. Not only do they ensure we are taken care of but they taught us how to best take care of our teeth to prevent future issues! I haven't been to a dental office like this before. Dr. Lubeck provides recommendations but does not force a decision to be made on the spot so you can weigh the options after being well-informed of the pro's and con's of each decision!

If there was a way to give a rating higher than five stars I most certainly would. I will extend this rating to his entire staff. They are not just professional they are personal. The dental hygienist have got to be the best in the business. If I'm not mistaken the entire staff has been working there for a long time. I have never had positive experiences in the past and was more than a little hesitant when I first started seeing Dr Lubeck a couple years ago. Let me state again, this is the best staff and dentist quite probably in the entire United States. If you have a dentist and they are good I dare you to try Dr Lubeck. I would be willing to bet even money that you're going to drive back to your old dentist and slap the taste out of their mouth. Yes they are that good.!

I've been seeing Dr. Dykstra since 1976 after moving to Arlington from Everett. I had bad experiences with my dentist in Everett when I was young. Dr. Dykstra is such a gentle dentist and person. He has done fillings, several crowns, and even a bridge that consists of 9 teeth!!! Along with other bridges. He is currently building me a bridge on me this month. (Aug. 2016) My wife and children also see Dr. Dykstra and feel the same way as I do. I really can't say enough kind words about this Dentist. His staff is also the best!! I can not say enough positive things about Kevin Stroud and his entire team at Pro-Seal. I was hit with a long list of HOA violations at the end of my real estate transaction with limited time to make corrections. Pro-Seal worked me into the schedule within my re-inspection needs, not only once, but twice! The driveway that once had dips, cracks, grass growing through, was faded and more was repaired and sealed beautifully, looking brand new. Then an unexpected flash heavy rain and storms came through the area and washed away much of the hard work put into the driveway. I was immediately re-added to the schedule to stay within my HOA timeframe. They worked me in at the end of their day just to ensure an expedited finished product, not even beginning their work until 6pm. Now that is dedication! Rented chartered wakeboard boat with Mike for a weekend in September. This was a 4 generation group with ages 1 year to 78 years. Mike was so accommodating and easy to work with. Surf's Up Lake Powell is a great service offered to people who would like to learn about surfing and boating. My boyfriend and I used them to take us out for 3 days on Lake Powell in September 2021.
