If you're migrating to a new CMS, you must have a 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧. Post launch there will be ranking fluctuations. If SEO traffic drops after a redesign beyond 2 to 3%, you must take immediate action. It's likely traffic will decrease even more indicating a serious problem. Don't loose valuable market share. Below is an example. The historical traffic is for an established e-commerce retailer. They were receiving nearly 1.4 million visits a month in June 2019. After the web redesign, SEO traffic dropped to 635,000 visits in January 2020. 1.) Think of the revenue lost. 2.) Now think of the potential lifetime customers they may have lost.😳 Double ouch!
