KWS partnered to provide a shaftless screw conveyor for transferring dried biosolids from a dryer to a bucket elevator. All stock components are manufactured to CEMA standards and will directly interchange with stock components from other screw conveyor manufacturers. Over half of the world’s population does not have access to clean drinking water and proper sanitation facilities. Poor sanitation is a major contributor to the spread of disease. KWS helped successfully develop a process for metering and conveying various bulk materials for the waste treatment process. Specifically, a cantilever screw conveyor was required to inject a combination of dried biosolids, silica sand and hydrated lime into a boiler.
