The EU this week proposed regulations governing the use of ethical #AI that could become the new standard for how AI and machine learning are governed around the world. If passed, the new regs would cover any AI-ML system that might impact an EU citizen. This could be an expensive proposition for AI-ML developers. AI-ML systems require high volumes of training data to feed their algorithms. Building different algorithm models for different geographic regions could be costly.
