Our star intern, Nicole Shariati, of Georgia Tech and robotics coach at FSA, spoke at the Alpharetta Chamber about the integration of robotics, AI &amp; ML in schools. Joining Nicole was Luis Guzman, who introduced his humanoid robot, Zeus 2Q, a robotic kit for research &amp; education.

The EU this week proposed regulations governing the use of ethical  #AI that could become the new standard for how AI and machine learning are governed around the world. If passed, the new regs would cover any AI-ML system that might impact an EU citizen. This could be an expensive proposition for AI-ML developers. AI-ML systems require high volumes of training data to feed their algorithms. Building different algorithm models for different geographic regions could be costly. It will be interesting to see how tech leaders respond to the proposed rule.
