We recently read the article “Music to My Elephant Ears” by Julia Carmel at The New York Times. It's an interesting read that discusses how the 1976 album “Mother Earth's Plantasia” has become popular with plant owners. During the pandemic, people have been playing music for their plants, and even creating plant playlists. The album by Mort Garson consists of ten wordless tracks created on a Moog synthesizer. Plenty of people have been playing these tunes for their plants during the pandemic. Plant care has skyrocketed amidst isolation. Plant care has become a great source of self-care. It's a reminder to nurture ourselves as well as our potted pals.
