Get onto this feature early, so you don't get left behind!

We've know for a while that Instagram are moving towards focussing on keywords in captions. But now, Instagram captions are searchable on Google! 

We can expect that this feature will be heavily pushed at the beginning, as all new IG features are.

So what does this mean for you? It means you NEED to start using key words and phrases in your post captions. Research the phrases your ideal clients are searching, and include them in your captions.

Anyone else been here? It's so frustrating! 

Make sure you save your reels frequently to avoid losing them. And save the audio you want to use too, so you don't have to search for it again. Nothing worse than lip syncing a reel and losing the audio for it.

You already know what NOT to do with hashtags, so how should you actually use them?

Put some time into researching hashtags. You'll want to save a set of hashtags you can refer back to, instead of thinking of new tags each post.

Look for hashtags that have between 100k and 1mil uses, and make sure they are relevant to you. The exact range varies for each business, but this is a good benchmark.

Use around 3-8 hashtags in each post. I personally find 5-7 work best for me, but it may be different for you, so play around with it.
