Our team had an absolutely wonderful time at our N8 holiday party last evening! Big ol' shout out to Chef Andy and Acorn Pantry / Tesora Catering and Events for teaching us all some new tricks in the kitchen (and answering our 300 questions) - the egg rolls and fried rice were delicious!

10/10 recommend a cooking class for anyone looking for a fun team building activity.

Who would've thought something as simple as spending 10 minutes go-kart racing on a virtual track could change the trajectory of your Wednesday afternoon? 

One of our goals in 2023 is to find new ways to bring our mostly-remote team together. One suggestion was to gather in a virtual meeting space. While the go-kart races are one of our favorite features, there are also virtual meeting spaces with digital whiteboards, focus timers, creative brainstorming games and more. 

Not going to lie – we are super excited to see how everyone decorates their desks! While we know there are many more important tasks to work on (we promise your work is still being completed in a timely manner), we ARE dedicated to unifying our team, one go-kart race at a time.

We LOVE client meetings – especially when we get to visit them in person! This is our not-so-secret way of making clients hang out with us (love y'all for that). 

These meetings are where ideas get pitched (albeit, not all of them are dingers but we still pitch them, nonetheless). This is where we set priorities, chat long- and short-term strategies and manage expectations as we dive into new projects. The goal of these meetings is for our clients to feel supported. Like they have a true team that they can rely on to make sure things are moving through the pike (or pipe if you refuse to say pike like me). Our goal is to serve as a true extension to your team because all we want in life is to see your business succeed and if we can play a small role in that, well then, that would be pretty neat.

The VP of Content Marketing will lead the Content Department at North of Eight Design & Marketing -This includes managing staff and client accounts. • Assist in the management and development of the social sales pipeline. 
• Content Writing - websites, blogs, email marketing, ad copy.
• A drive to continue education/stay on top of ever-changing trends.
• Offer technical support to clients, as needed.  
• Communicate with leadership to assist with developing and delivering project proposals.

Some key differences:
Snapchat: younger audience, lower average income
TikTok: skews younger, but a good chunk of the audience is middle-aged. Much more affluent audience. 

This high-level overview is for businesses who aren't necessarily using either platform as of yet, or aren't actively using their profiles as a tool to grow their business.
