Boutique Financial Marketing AgencyMy daughter is at college and she told me she went to the gym for the first time and did the elliptical, abs, walking, and recumbent bike. I'm like Woah! That's a lot for your first time. Start slow. It's the same thing with our business. We try to do all the things. We try to be on all social platforms, we want to start a podcast, and a blog, create some pins, and have a newsletter. All of this is fine as long as you build upon it. Trying to do it all at once when you have nothing in place, you are setting your business up for failure and will get burnt out. Take time to sit down and focus on one piece of content marketing. For most people that will naturally be social media. The one thing I love about social media is that it's FREE marketing (there are ads of course but remember we are starting slow). After all, if you have a podcast, a blog, or even a newsletter you need somewhere to market that content and somewhere to put that lead magnet. This is why I will mostly recommend social media. Then choose which platform and build upon there.
