Now a groovy #craftbrewery in #fredericton is forced to drop their use of the name of their flagship pale ale and IPA. It's a perfect opportunity for a well-thought (and thoroughly-researched) #rebranding exercise.

Devil's Keep Distillery makes some of Fredericton's best spirits! (not to mention, that snazzy box design 😎 )

Many celebrities have their name on products in the #SpiritsIndustry. Ryan Reynolds has Aviation Gin, Bryan Cranston and Aaron paul founded Dos Hombres Mezcal, and Teremana Tequila was founded by Dwayne The Rock Johnson.

I often like to imagine what some other celebrity spirits brands might look like. When the town of Hope, British Columbia recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of Sylvester Stallone's Rambo: First Blood, my creative wheels started turning.

With apologies to the keepers of the Diageo and Johnnie Walker Marketing Code, I'm excited to present a mockup of the incredibly elite "Johnnie R."

We're mixing up something new at Square Thunder!
Think of it as the "Doug Demuro" of the spirits industry. Starting on 2.2.22, I'll be doing brand reviews and tastings of craft spirits and beverages. First, I'll explore the brand, the labelling, the artwork and tell you all about its quirks and features. Then I'll get it in a glass and tell you how it tastes.
