Meet our friend John Ghublikian. Don’t worry about the last name; you can call him Ghubs like the rest of us. Born in Seoul, Korea, but raised in Milton, Massachusetts, by his adoptive family since he was four months old, Ghubs is a ray of sunshine we all need in our lives. He dives into his interests with a passion that’s seldom seen but often admired. First it was studying Political Science at Northeastern University, then using that background to dabble in politics first in Massachusetts then in Washington, D.C. From there, he entered the agency world in New York City before eventually making his way back to his New England roots. Ghubs’ love for the state he grew up in has never wavered, and he proudly shows off his local sports memorabilia collection — highlighted by Ted Williams, Tom Brady and David Pastrňák. Currently, Ghubs is an active part-time MBA student and a member of Ashley Longshore’s Artgasm Club, having fallen in love with street and pop art over the past few years. So far, his art collection includes a few signed Shepard Fairey limited-edition prints, but with The Art of Banksy’s recent opening in Boston, there’s no doubt he’ll be inspired to add to that collection before long. When he’s not challenging himself intellectually, Ghubs enjoys rooting for the Patriots — which, fun fact, since his birthday is February 3, he’s one of the luckiest Pats fans in that Tom Brady’s first and last Super Bowl wins with the team came on Ghubs’ birthday. Hard to beat that. So as you can see, Ghubs is a breath of fresh air — one in which we’re thrilled to inhale. All. Day. Long.

Rolling contestants in zorb balls down a 70-foot ramp to a giant Keno 603 board below, cheering them on as they claw their way to 7x5-foot scratch tickets while attached to bungee cords, and attempting not to bust a gut laughing as they race through an inflatable obstacle course, trying to evade a Joker (aka Tyler York) and reveal three Queens. We could call this "work" but it’s better described as a blast. Huge shoutout to the team that made "Are You Game?" a reality, and to Olivia Morley at Adweek for the awesome writeup on this larger-than-life campaign. These past 36 years with our partners at the New Hampshire Lottery have been a fun and wild ride – and we're just getting started! Read on to learn more about "Are You Game?" and how it invites prospective players to join in on the numerous and rapidly growing list of ways people can experience the NH Lottery for themselves.

👏 FINALIST ALERT 👏 Paying for college can be overwhelming to navigate. So to help students “hack” higher education and find free money through financial aid and scholarships, Sallie Mae and GYK created an animated series that turned the whole process into a video game-like cyberspace adventure, placing our videos directly on Gen Z’s No. 1 search engine, YouTube. So far, our three episodes of “HACKED” have racked up over 4.5 million views – and now, the series is up for “Best Use of Video” in Digiday's Content Marketing Awards. Huge congrats to the team.
